The Emirates Diabetes Society is a non-profit medical society which was established in 1996 representing a cross section of specialist physicians and healthcare providers who are actively involved in the management of diabetes and endocrinology. The Emirates Diabetes Society is the primary Medical Society in the United Arab Emirates responsible for research, education, and dissemination of Diabetes information to the medical and non-medical community. The society conducts number educational programs, which includes scientific as well as educational programs targeted towards Diabetes Educators.
